Featured Linguist Opportunities
Titan supports the continued efforts of the US Army’s and Department of Defense’s overall mission in the Global War on Terrorism (GWOT). Currently, Titan seeks qualified linguists to work in overseas locations, such as Iraq and Afghanistan to support translation and interpretation requirements for the US Army.
Successful applicants must:
- Be willing to live and work in harsh conditions co-located with US Army.
- Meet the minimum language proficiency for interpretation and translation skills.
Applicants must be fluent in the target language and meet minimum standards for English proficiency. Successfully pass oral proficiency test and written examination from the target language into English and English into the target language.
- Meet medical deployment requirements.
- Meet the US Government’s background security check and counterintelligence/force protection screening.
In the case of Category II (CAT II) positions, the applicant must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD SECRET clearance, which requires US citizenship (dual citizenship not accepted).
