Titan has more than 28 years of experience in the information technology sector. Much of this experience has been and is currently directly related to Email and messaging services including DOD multi-level secure Email system and the Defense Message System (DMS). Other Specific Email and messaging systems include: CC:Mail, Lotus Notes, Outlook 97/98/2000, Multifunctional Secure Gateway (MSG), and Message Distribution Terminal (MDT).
The DMS is a global Email/messaging system composed of COTS and GOTS software running on COTS hardware. It employs a wide range of technologies and protocols including SMTP, X.25, X.400, X.500, X.509, PKI, and various APIs. The communication protocol for the system is currently TCP/IP. Titan is a stable, customer focused business with a very strong record of quality performance.
The MSG is full-featured store-and-forward message switching system that operates under Windows NT operating system. It delivers messages seamlessly from the writer to reader via AUTODIN. MSG supports a variety of protocols and formats currently in use, or it can be readily customized to satisfy unique customer situations. The MSG provides automatic delivery to and from the desktop or host computer using industry standards such as MS Exchange.
The MDT was developed as an AUTODIN communications terminal for shore-based commands to provide on-line automated message distribution. The system provides reliable, secure transmission/reception of narrative/data pattern messages on a store-and- forward, message-switching basis with error detection capabilities.
